Our Beliefs

Our faith is centered on Jesus Christ and rooted in Scripture. These convictions shape the way we worship, pray, treat one another, and live each day. We seek communion with God through the Holy Spirit and trust that God changes us as we follow Jesus.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the foundation of our faith. His life, death, and resurrection show us the character of God and the way of grace, truth, love, forgiveness, and obedience.

We seek to follow Jesus in practice. His teaching shapes our character, our relationships, our priorities, and the way we engage with the world.

God and the Holy Spirit

We believe God invites people into a real and personal relationship with Him. Through faith in Jesus Christ, we come to know God as Father, Lord, and the source of wisdom, strength, and life.

The Holy Spirit helps us walk with God daily. We look to the Spirit as we pray, worship, repent, obey, and discern how to live faithfully.

The Bible

We believe Scripture tells the truth about God, humanity, sin, grace, and the hope found in Jesus Christ. It gives the church its instruction and keeps our faith anchored when life is confusing or difficult.

We read the Bible to know God, to hear Christ's call, and to let God's Word correct and form us.

Prayer

We believe prayer is essential to Christian life. In prayer we worship God, seek His will, bring our needs before Him, intercede for others, and receive wisdom for the next faithful step.

Prayer is communion with God. We return to it in joy and gratitude, as well as in grief, uncertainty, and need.

Spiritual warfare

We believe believers face spiritual opposition. We meet it through faith in Christ, the truth of God's Word, righteousness, discernment, perseverance, and dependence on the Holy Spirit.

Our confidence is in the authority and victory of Jesus Christ, not in our own strength. We seek to stay alert, grounded in truth, and faithful in prayer.

A transformed life

We believe God changes people. Christian faith calls us to repentance, forgiveness, obedience, and a life shaped by love for God and neighbor.

We are still learning and growing. We trust God to form us over time and to make our lives a faithful witness to Jesus Christ.
